Breakfast on the Pier

If you’ve been back here to see what’s up with me you might think I left the building. I’m still here but have other fish to fry. Boo!
With the heat wave we’re having I switched my daily walk from the evening to 6 a.m. One of my neighbors caught his breakfast off the Bay Ridge 69th street pier this morning. Striper saute coming up!

Alright! You’re back to blogging land. Love it.
I heard there was a little break from the heat wave out there on the Today Show. True?
Your walk is such a good idea. So pretty! Keep the posts coming.

I’ve got an 8:30 a.m. appointment tomorrow at one of the schools Thank God it’s cooling off a bit. It seem as if I should weigh about 30 pounds less from all the sweating, but unfortunately fat isn’t water soluble. I’ve got a ways to go but I’m working on it (about 6 miles this morning). Not bad for a geezer on creaky old knees.
My new theme song here on these tough streets is “Hit Me With Your Best Shot”, a Pat Benatar hit before your time. Bring it on (but not so often please)!

Happy (Grand) Father’s Day! We hope you found something fun to do today in NYC!
Can’t wait to hear more about the plant donation, etc. I read your emails. I need some background info though. Does this mean things are on track again? Good luck.

Now that’s a real fish story!! Fresh but not smelly – right!?! Does anyone catch chocolate croissants off the pier?!
